Land Acknowledgement and Reconciliation

Fluid Medical is grateful for the opportunity to create, collaborate and work on these lands, colonially known today as Canada. We recognize that these are the ancestral lands and home to the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples. We are thankful for the Elders, traditional Knowledge Keepers, and Peoples who are with us today and those who have gone before us.

We acknowledge that our work spans many ancestral, unceded, treaty territories and lands. With respect, we acknowledge that our head office situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We would like to recognize and uphold the truths of the Peoples who have cared for these lands since time immemorial.

The Fluid team recognizes the land and the gifts it provides all of us.

We are committed to Reconciliation, as recommended by the foundational documents such as Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s (TRC) 94 Calls to Action, UNDRIP and DRIPA legislation 46 Articles, In Plain Sight Report (IPS) 24 Recommendations, insight into Missing and Murdered Women, Girls and Two Spirit (MMIWG2S) 15 Calls for Justice. We recognize the many reports and documents that provide insight and guidance for understanding the depths and truths of inequity towards First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples.
